These are photos of a drainage system renovation. The previous gutter drain system was damaged resulting in water in the basement. We eliminated the old system, and installed all new piping and made several improvements. The improvements included removing excess mulch and soil buildup, flower bed regrading and redirecting of water, and installing several additional yard drains that remedied the problem. This is a before photo of a driveway and backyard that had been badly eroded from heavy water volume flow during rain storms The solution was to capture the driveway and gutter water and redirect it within a piping system. This is a photo of the new catch basin designed to contain the heavy water volume and prevent driveway and backyard erosion. The water basin has a 6 inch solid pipe which redirects the water to outflow into a natural area deep in the end of the property. /></a> <a class=This is a photo of the backyard after the excavation and installation of the 6 inch basin drain line. The rear hill was washed out due to years of water flow. We filled all the washouts and hydroseeded. We also installed erosion control netting to prevent any washout while waiting for the seed to root. In this case, this was an easier and more economical solution than a costly retaining wall.
